Strawberry farm most visited in South Cotabato


DAVAO CITY – A strawberry farm is the most visited tourist attraction in South Cotabato.

The provincial government, citing a report from the Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Museum (ACTM) Unit, the Strawberry-Guyabano Farm (SG Farm) in Tupi had the most tourist arrivals for the first quarter of 2021.

It said SG Farm recorded 41,164 visitors from January to March.

The fruit farm in Sitio Glandang, Barangay Kablon bested the popular Seven Falls Resort in Lake Sebu which registered 41,123 visitors in the same quarter.

The SG Farm offers farm and nature experience with their artistically designed cottages and camping sites.

The farm boasts of glamping experience with the view of the majestic Mount Matutum and their strawberry garden. The resort is 7.5 kilometers away from the national highway.

The other popular tourist spots in the province were Koronadal City’s Mambucal Hot Spring Resort which recorded 20,140 visitors and the Lantaw Gardo of Norala, a mountain resort, which got 18,573 visitors.
