Parañaque City implements ‘No SMS Text, No Entry’ policy at vaccination sites


The Paranaque City government is strictly implementing “No SMS Text No Entry” to avoid overcrowding of people at their vaccination sites.

To avoid overcrowding at vaccination sites in the city, the local government unit (LGU) of Parañaque City is now strictly implementing the “No SMS Text, No Entry” policy.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said residents should show the text message from the LGU to enter vaccination sites.

According to him, they must present their patient ID number and the slot number from the text message they received to the guard before they could enter.

As such, the mayor said that individuals who are classified as A1 category (health care workers) must present a photocopy of their PRC ID or their certificate of employment that shows they are working in a health facility within the city together with a photocopy of their valid identification card with Parañaque address.

For A2 category (senior citizens), he said they must present a photocopy of their OSCA ID with Parañaque address and medical clearance that they are safe to receive vaccines.

Olivarez said that for A3 category (adults with comorbidities), they must bring photocopy of medical certificate issued within the least of 18 months and medical prescription issued with six months together with a photocopy of their valid ID with Parañaque address.
