If you aren't living under a rock then you should know that the American sitcom "Friends" is having a comeback show that will premiere this month. After its last episode aired in 2002, the show's gang is back to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Here's what we know so far.

First off, all the stars behind the gang are back

The reunion show presents a complete attendance of the sitcom's cast. Back at Stage 24 at the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank are actors Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross).

The comeback is only a reunion special, not a new season or episode

As much as fans want to see what happened to the characters through the years, sadly that will not be the case in the reunion, which is also titled "The One Where They Get Back Together."

According to HBO Max, "Friends: The Reunion" is "not a new, original episode of the series. The cast will be appearing as themselves, not as their beloved characters."

Throughout the show, expect to see the cast reminisce on their time on the show, behind-the-scenes footage, and the iconic sets of the show such as Central Perk, their apartments, and Friends fountain.

It will feature many celebrity appearances

The show's comeback is going to be pretty stellar with appearances of actors Reese Witherspoon, James Corden, Kit Harrington, and Mindy Kaling. Also gracing the show are music superstars BTS, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift.

When and where to watch

"Friends: The Reunion" will premiere on May 27, 2020 on streaming platform HBO Max.
