'FPJ's Ang Probinsyano' to end run soon?

Talk about long-running action-drama series "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" supposedly already ending and soon gathered steam anew with one of its stars seemingly let slip in an interview what appears to be a secret.

In an interview with G3 San Diego, Angel Aquino, who plays the role of Gen. Diana Olegario in the series, shared the cast are already scheduled for their "ultimate last lock-in taping."

Asked to clarify, Angel sounded as if she was hesitant to divulge more.

She said, “Well, we're scheduled for our 'ultimate last lock-in' but we still don't know if they'll change their minds.”

“We'll see. Lahat kami, naka-ending mode na kami, but then we still don't know. We don't know if ABS will decide to extend the show,” Angel added.

Note the show has been airing since September 28, 2015.

Many thought the show would eventually end its run after ABS-CBN failed to renew its franchise.

The gossip was denied by the network.

New episodes has since been airing in the Kapamilya Channel, with simulcast on Cine Mo! and Jeepney TV.

A2Z and TV5 has also received rights to broadcast the show through its partnership with ABS-CBN Corporation.

The series also streams online via iWantTFC, TFC IPTV and Kapamilya Online Live.

It also airs internationally through The Filipino Channel.
