"Definitely, uumpisahan na po 'yan pero kailangan po 'yan yung sufficient na vaccine na darating (We will definitely begin vaccinating the A4 sector but we need a sufficient vaccine supply)," he said.

The mayor added that more supplies of COVID-19 vaccines are expected to arrive in June.

National Task Force against COVID 19 Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said that the inoculation of those under the A4 category and indigent population under the A5 category have been approved by the national government and it could start immediately in June.

Galvez added that the exact date of the vaccination will be announced next week. The Department of Health (DOH) will provide the guidelines for both categories.
