Team Lakay's rising strawweight Lito Adiwang is back on training a month after testing positive for COVID-19.
In a recent video posted by Team Lakay, Adiwang said he focused on reflecting on his past fights which paved the way for a stronger mental state during the quarantine period.
"Hindi man natuloy 'yung fight ko, at least na-check ko 'yung mga holes ko pa and na-check ko pa na ang dami ko pa palang pwedeng gawin para manalo doon sa fights ko," said Adiwang, who holds a 12-3 record.
"Nakita ko 'yung big picture na ang dami ko pang pwedeng gawin para manalo roon."
In particular, Adiwang also pictured ways on how to defeat world top-ranked strawweight Jarred Brooks, who was supposed to be his initial opponent in the ONE on TNT series.
The 27-year-old Adiwang, however, contracted COVID-19 a week before flying to Singapore for ONE Championship's primetime television debut in the United States.
As of today, the Team Lakay stalwart continues to train and awaits the promotion's next matchup.
Brooks, who owns a 16-2 slate with one no-contest decision, for his part, has yet to appear for his ONE Championship debut.

"It's time for me to prepare well and tignan natin kasi 'yun nga, nakikita ko na dami rin niyang (Brooks) holes," said Adiwang. "I want to shock the world, na okay, gusto ko talaga i-prove 'yung sarili ko na I can beat this guy. Naniniwala talaga akong kayang kaya ko 'to."
