He said the victim had been staying here for years now.

Few hours later, the second body was found
at the middle of a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia.

Police Capt. Jerald Muya, Murcia police chief, identified the fatality as Archie Aguirre, 41, of Hinigaran.

Muya said that a sugarcane worker discovered the body of Aguirre, who had multiple bullet wounds in his head and other parts of his body.

Police recovered from the crime scene eight empty shells of .22 caliber and a slug of a suspected M16.

Muya said the victim had no criminal record and was not a drug personality in the town upon the confirmation of Hinigaran Municipal Police Station.

The third body was found late in the afternoon in Hacienda Sagrado Dos, Barangay 16, Talisay City.

Police Staff Master Sgt. Reginaldo Suelto, chief investigator of Talisay City Police Station, identified the victim as Bryan Barredo, 24, of Barangay 1 here.

Suelto said that Barredo left their house around 7 p.m. Monday. He was discovered by a sugarcane worker the following day, with wounds in the forehead and chest.
