Filipina basketball star Jack Animam is taking her act to the United States after signing with talent management firm East West Private.
The Ohio-based agency, which manages the careers of teen sensation and former University of the Philippines Maroon Kobe Paras, announced this on social media Tuesday, May 18, with photos and videos of Animam on the court.
“Believe in family #puso,” the caption read, showing a photo of Animam along with Paras and Far Eastern University high school star Cholo Anonuevo.
A separate video of her shooting hoops was also posted with a caption that read, “Maniwala. Family uplifting Family. No one left behind. If you BELIEVE in yourself and have dedication and pride – and never quit, you’ll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.”
The 6-foot-4 Animam is coming off a successful stint in Taiwan where she led Shih Hsin University to a championship with their records unblemished.
A double gold medalist at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games where she played in the 3x3 and 5-on-5 events, Animam also boasts of an impressive collegiate career where she won five UAAP titles with the National University Lady Bulldogs unscathed.
