39 junk cars of NCRPO destroyed in Taguig fire

A fire destroyed 39 junk cars of the National Capital Region Police (NCRPO) inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig Monday.

According to Taguig City Fire Station, the fire started from one of the vehicles parked in the temporary impounding area at the Helipad Area.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The fire reached the first alarm at 11:04 a.m. before it was put out at 11:44 a.m.

Authorities said damage to property reached P400,000. No one was injured in the fire.

Twenty-four fire trucks from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and local government units, and five ambulances responded to the incident.
