A fire broke out at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila early morning on Sunday, May 16.
Initial information from the Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) said that the fire originated from the third floor of the building and reached the first alarm at 12:41 a.m.
Several live videos on social media showed patients and doctors rushing out of the hospital premises.
The fire was raised to second alarm at 12:58 a.m.
