A ticket bought in Abucay, Bataan won Saturday night's P29.7-million Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced in a Facebook post on Sunday, May 16.

The PCSO said only one bettor correctly guessed the winning combination of 13-01-50-10-51-54.

The lucky bettor defied the one-in-28,989,675 odds of winning the jackpot of the 6/55 game.

On the other hand, two bettors were able to guess five of the six winning numbers to bag the second prize of P100,000. Two hundred seventy-nine bettors won P1,500 each while 4,364 won P60 in consolation prizes.

Meanwhile, PCSO said there was no jackpot winner in the Lotto 6/42 draw held Saturday evening, May 15, which yielded a winning combination 14-29-21-40-13-27.

PCSO reminded that prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to the TRAIN Law.

Meanwhile, prizes not claimed by the public within one year from the date of the draw will be considered forfeited.
