CEBU CITY – A business process outsourcing (BPO) company has assured employees that it will shoulder the vaccination of its employees in Manila and this city.
Fusion Philippines announced Friday that it will acquire 2,500 doses of vaccine for the first phase of its vaccination drive.
“Fusion BPO Services is furthering its commitment to protecting its employees’ health, safety, and well-being by removing obstacles for its employees to access the COVID-19 vaccine if they so choose,” the company said in a statement.
The company stated it is closely working with the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital to ensure its workers remain prioritized.
The company ensured that all its employees in the Philippines who wish to receive the vaccine can do so without losing pay or taking time away from work.
“Fusion will cover all costs associated with vaccine administration and will help employees get vaccinated,” the company stated.
Nagarajan Anandaraman, Fusion Philippines Manager, said that since the beginning of the pandemic, the company has taken measures to help the company’s operations run smoothly and ensure minimum disruption.
“Providing vaccination option so that employees can receive the COVID-19 vaccine is a way we can support them and minimize the need to choose between earning money and protecting their well-being,” Anandaraman said.
Fusion has implemented several safety measures to protect its employees from the virus such as allowing a work-from- home scheme and regular sanitation and requiring masks in the workplace.
