K-pop superstars and Grammy nominee BTS will be special guests on the much-awaited “Friends: The Reunion.”
HBO Max announced the lineup of special guests for the “Friends: The Reunion” special that will premiere on May 27.
“‘Friends’ stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the beloved show,” according to HBO Max.
Besides BTS, other special guests will be David Beckham, Justin Bieber, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
“Friends” aired for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004 and became one of the most popular TV shows.
The show follows the lives of a group of friends who live in New York City. Its characters are siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston). It won the Emmy award for outstanding comedy series and also for Aniston and Kudrow.
Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry, and Schwimmer served as executive producers for the special with Ben Winston as director.
