It seems like Carla Abellana came to defend the religious organization which received mixed reactions after it uploaded online the wedding bann of her and fiance Tom Rodriguez.
On the Facebook page of Parokya ni San Guillermo, the celebrity couple's pieces of information about their wedding were uploaded on the "Tawag sa ikakasal" album.
In there, their full names, ages, addresses, and names of their parents were written along with the date and location of their wedding at Madre de Dios Chapel in Tagaytay on Oct. 23.
Some netizens asked for the reception's details while others teased they will gatecrash the wedding.
On Instagram, the 34-year-old actress noted that a wedding bann is a Church "requirement" for Catholics getting married in any and all Catholic Churches in the country.
"It is a necessary step to be able to secure a Wedding Permit. Please see the definitions below. Thank you!," she wrote.
October last year when the Kapuso stars got engaged but only announced it a few months later.
Last month, Tom expressed disappointment that someone else has already uploaded a video of him creating the engagement ring he gave to Carla. The two started dating in 2014.
