“Bukas magkakaroon po ng pulong ang MMC para malaman po natin yun pong magiging consensus ng mga mayor (Tomorrow, the MMC will have a meeting to know the consensus of the mayors),” MMC Chairman and Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez told DZRH in an interview Tuesday.

Olivarez said he sees the easing of quarantine restrictions in Paranaque as possible, saying the city’s numbers have been improving.

The mayor added that the reproduction number in Paranaque is already less than one at 0.63.

The number of active cases and the hospital utilization rate in the city have also gone down.

Olivarez, however, said that while his city is doing good, his stand on the next quarantine status for NCR will be one with the entire MMC.

The NCR is under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) until May 14.
