Makati City ramps up vaccination program, opens new vaccination site

The Makati City local government is ramping up its COVID-19 vaccination program as it begins to inoculate its residents with their second dose of the vaccines.

"Fully protected na ang #ProudMakatizens na tumanggap ng kanilang second dose ng libreng bakuna kontra COVID-19 sa Makati Coliseum ngayong araw (#ProudMakatizens are now fully protected against COVID-19 after receiving their second dose of free vaccines at the Makati Coloseum today)," the local government said in its Facebook post.

"Hindi na kailangang mag-register muli para sa 2nd dose ng bakuna. Pumunta lamang sa araw ng schedule ng inyong second dose at dalhin ang inyong vaccination card (Those who will take their second dose do not need to register again. Just go to the centers on your scheduled date of vaccination and bring your vaccination card)," it added.

The local government reminded its constituents that walk-ins are not allowed in the vaccination site and that only those who have registered and received a confirmatory text from the LGU will be allowed to enter.
