Two men were killed and around P150 million worth of shabu was seized during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City on Sunday night (May 10).
Pasig City Police identified one of the suspects as Arthor O. Abdul, 33, of Valencia, Bukidnon.
Meanwhile, his cohort remains unidentified and was described as a man with a small built, fair complexion, and has a tattoo on his left arm and his left chest “Jayson.” He was about 5’4 to 5’6 in height and was wearing a black T-shirt and navy blue shorts.
Based on a police report, undercover policemen transacted with Adbul and his cohort at a vacant lot on Axis Road in Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig at around 9 p.m.
Abdul and his partner arrived at their meeting place aboard a silver Nissan Sentra with plate number XJG-404.
“However, sensing that the persons they are transacting are policemen, they pulled their respective firearm and fired upon the policemen who in turn retaliated that caused for their death,” investigators said in the police report.
Abdul and his cohort were rushed to the Pasig City General Hospital but were declared dead at 11:43 p.m.
Seized from them were two guns with defaced serial numbers, three spent shells, and the P1.5 million marked money.
Police also retrieved at least 22 kilograms of suspected shabu placed inside a vacuum-sealed plastic covered with yellow “Gua Yinwang” refined Chinese tea and wrapped with a golden yellow foil wrapper. Authorities said the shabu that was seized has a street value of P149.6 million.
