Pasay City's "Kandili ng Kalusugan Mobile" aids in lowering COVID-19 cases

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the “Kandili ng Kalusugan Mobile” project helped the city government in lowering down coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

Rubiano said the local government conducts weekly telemedical consultation in each scheduled barangays in the city to check the health conditions of every resident especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said the city government’ Kandili Kalusugan Mobile mainly focuses on the health conditions of senior citizens and the children.

The mayor said that aside from the telemedical consultation, the city government also gives free medicines particularly vitamins.

Rubiano also said the Kandili Kalusugan Mobile was also made for the convenience of residents because they could check up on their health even without visiting hospital..'

Meanwhile, the City Health Office (CHO) recorded on May 8 a total of 152 active cases with 31 new cases and a total of 13,452 recoveries.
