DAVAO CITY – The Rural Transit Bus has now opened a new route from Cotabato City to Cagayan de Oro (CDO) City and vice versa through Alamada-Amai Manabilang-Bukidnon.

The new route was inaugurated on Wednesday, May 5, which was led by Cotabato City Mayor Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi along with the executives of Rural Transit inside Mindanao Star Bus Terminal at Don Rufino Alonzo Street.
From Cagayan de Oro City, The bus will pass by the towns of Talakag Bukidnon going to the towns of Banisilan, Alamada, Libungan, Pigcawayan in Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat all the way to Cotabato City.
Initial report reveals the one-way fare will cost P541 and that the travel will take around five to six-hour travel time.
"Ngayon ay hindi na kailangan pang magtungo sa bayan ng Kabacan ang mga Cotabateño upang makasakay ng bus patungong CDO (Now, we do not need to go to Kabacan town for us to go in CDO)," Guiani said.
Buses of the new route are designed to accommodate people without worrying protocol on distancing as its seats are strategically placed with enough distance.
Just a few weeks ago, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) gave the permit to Rural Transit Mindanao Inc., for the said route.
