Song Joong-ki, Lee Je-hoon, Jang Nara, Song Kang top drama actor rankings in May

Song Joong-ki, Lee Je-hoon, Jang Nara, Song Kang and K-pop boy band 2PM’s OK Taecyeon emerged as the most talked about Korean drama actors for the month of May.

The Korea Corporate Research Institute released on May 5 the latest brand reputation rankings for drama actors based on consumer participation, media coverage, communication and community indices.

The institute analyzed 108.05 million pieces of big data covering 50 drama actors from April 5 to May 5, an increase of 8.73 percent from 99.37 million in March.

Song Joong-ki, who starred in the recently ended drama “Vincenzo,” rose to first place from second place in March with a score of 8.83 million, up from 5.12 million last month.

Lee Je-hoon, who is currently starring in “Taxi Driver,” placed second with a score of 5.66 million.

Actress Jang Nara, the main star in “Sell Your Haunted House,” took third place with a score of 4.73 million.

“Navillera” star Song Kang is in fourth place, garnering a brand reputation index score of 4.62 million.

OK Taecyeon, who played a villain in “Vincenzo,” recorded a brand reputation score of 4.15 million to place fifth.
