San Juan City reminds residents to wait for confirmatory text before proceeding to vaccination sites

The San Juan City local government reminded its citizens to wait for the confirmatory text coming from the local government unit (LGU) before proceeding to the vaccination sites to receive their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"Para po sa mga San JuaneÃ±ong nakatanggap ng first dose ng bakuna kontra COVID-19, hintayin lamang po ang confirmatory text message na manggagaling sa "SanJuanCity" para sa schedule ng inyong second dose (For those who received their first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, please wait for a confirmatory text coming from "SanJuanCity" for the schedule of your second dose)." the LGU said in its Facebook post on Monday.

"Tanging sa aming opisyal na number lamang manggagaling ang confirmatory schedule ng araw at oras ng pagbabakuna," it added.

The LGU also warned its constituents against people spreading fake news and sending false text messages regarding their vaccination schedules.

"Tulad ng dati, ang may mga schedule lamang ang siyang papapasukin sa vaccination center (Just like before, only those who have been scheduled will be allowed to enter the vaccination center)." the LGU said.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said yesterday that the city has already inoculated more than 10,000 San JuaneÃ±os as it ramped up its inoculation program.
