Caloocan starts vaccination of COVID-19 second dose

Caloocan City has started administering the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines on Monday, May 3.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Mayor Oscar Malapitan said the individuals who have been vaccinated are part of the A1 and A3 groups.

The A1 group is composed of the city’s health and medical workers, while the A3 group is composed of residents aged 18-59 years old who have comorbidities.

The vaccination will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the following venues:

  • Caloocan Central Elementary School for residents of Barangays 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 13, 15, 17, 19, 80
  • Libis Talisay Elementary School for residents of Barangays 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11
  • Maypajo High School for residents of Barangays 26, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
  • University of Caloocan City – South Campus for residents of Barangays 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 105
  • East Bagong Barrio Elementary School for residents of Barangays 156 and 157
  • Baesa Elementary School for residents of Barangays 158, 159, 160, 161
  • Antonio Luna Elementary School for residents of Barangay 171
  • Llano Elementary School for residents of Barangay 167
  • Camarin High School for residents of Barangay 174
  • Camarin Area D Elementary School for residents of Barangay 178A
  • NHC High School for residents of Barangays 184, 185, 186
  • Bagong Silang Elementary School for residents of Barangays Phase 1 and Phase 4

A television report from GMA said the city is expecting to inoculate at least 3,600 residents on Monday with the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Those who will go to the vaccination sites must bring their own ballpen, a PhilHealth ID (only if they have one), a valid ID, and a vaccine card showing that they have already received the first dose.

Residents were also advised to wear face masks and face shields during the vaccination processes.
