Widening of Labato Bridge to ease traffic congestion in Cagayan Valley Road

TUGUEGARAO CITY – The completion of the Labato Bridge widening of Barangay Namabbalan, Tuguegarao City here is expected to address traffic congestion along Cagayan Valley Road.

In a report by Department of Public Works and Highways – Cagayan Third District Engineering Office (DPWH-CTDEO) District Engineer Danilo U. Tabilas, the bridge widening project with a length of 70.6 meters now provides wider network capacity for the travelling public.

The completed project worth P67 million aims to facilitate improvement of economic activities in the city proper by solving traffic congestion along Cagayan Valley Road.

This will also improve the growth of socio-economic activities around the area and convenience access for easier delivery of goods and services.

Labato bridge is an access to main parts of Tuguegarao City and in Daang Maharlika from Sta Fe to the municipality of Lal-lo.
