Mayor Jaime Fresnedi and Filinvest Alabang Vice President Don Ubaldo led the opening of the vaccination hub on April 30 located at the Filinvest Alabang steel parking area near Festival Mall and Crimson Hotel.

The city earlier opened two major vaccination hubs at SM Center Muntinlupa in Brgy. Tunasan and Ayala Malls South Park in Brgy. Alabang.

According to the Muntinlupa Health Office (CHO), 511 residents were inoculated at SM Center Muntinlupa on opening day on April 27 while 216 were vaccinated at Ayala Malls South Park on April 24.

The Filinvest Alabang vaccination hub can accommodate 500 persons per day and will inoculate residents belonging to A2 priority group, or senior citizens, and A3, or those with comorbidities who received text messages and confirmed their assigned schedule. Walk-ins will not be entertained.

As of April 28, a total of 22,960 Muntinlupa residents were inoculated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 18,796 getting Sinovac Life Science’s CoronaVac and 4,164 with AstraZeneca brand. A total of 832 residents from priority groups received their second dose.

Senior citizens are advised to bring a valid ID and medical clearance if they have comorbidities. For residents under the A3 priority group, they need to provide a valid ID and any proof of comorbidity such as medical certificate from an attending physician, prescription for medicines, hospital records such as the discharge summary and medical abstract, surgical records and pathology reports, or any other proof that can indicate eligibility.

Fresnedi urged residents who are members of the priority groups to get their COVID-19 jab as it will help prevent the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19.

Community vaccination sites in barangays will continue to accommodate other residents from different priority groups.

Residents can sign up through the Muntinlupa’s COVID-19 Vaccination Registration System at www.vaccine.muntinlupacity.gov.ph/muncovac.
