Julia Barretto's non-inclusion in Joshua Garcia's anniversary post receives mixed reaction

Some fans are relieved that Joshua Garcia didn't include former reel and real partner Julia Barretto in celebrating his seventh anniversary in showbiz.

The young actor commemorated his latest milestone via social media sharing throwback photos of him taken throughout his career.

Among these is a photo of him hugging Nora Aunor.

Another is a snap of him with McCoy de Leon, whom he worked in the 2017 crime drama primetime series "The Good Son."

There's also a picture of him with Janella Salvador, her leading lady in 2019's primetime TV series "The Killer Bride."

While the last photo was taken behind-the-scenes of the "Paubaya" music video.

"Celebrating my 7th year in showbiz... I miss acting so much, and I hope everything goes back to the way it used to be. Stay safe everyone, and I love you all," he wrote as caption.

"Hindi part si Julia ng 7 years niya sa showbiz wala siya sa picture ehehe buti pa sila ni Janella mayroon," an online user commented.

While another added: "hay salamat di mo ininclude yung pinagbabawalan kang mag-jowa kahit di mo naman siya nanay."

Meanwhile, some took offense with Joshua's action, tagging the latter as "ungrateful."

Joshua dated Julia after starring in different projects together as a love team. Their two-year relationship ended in 2019.

Among projects that they shared are the 2016 teen romantic film "Vince and Kath and James," 2017 romantic comedy-drama movies "Love You to the Stars and Back" and "Unexpectedly Yours," 2018 film  "I Love You, Hater," and 2020 zombie film "Block Z."

They also worked in "Ngayon at Kailanman," and most recently on the viral "Paubaya" music video.

Joshua rose to fame after joining "Pinoy Big Brother: All In."
