Pasay City is planning to embark on a massive vaccination drive once more COVID-19 vaccines arrive in the country.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city aims to inoculate 14,000 individuals weekly in their massive vaccination drive.
Rubiano said she is confident that the city's weekly target will be achieved especially with the opening of Pasay's biggest vaccination center at SM Mall of Asia (MOA)
According to the mayor, 2,000 individuals can be inoculated in a day at the MOA vaccination site.
By launching a massive vaccination drive, Rubiano said Pasay will be able to help the national government attain its goal of herd immunity in the fastest possible time.
Pasay is expecting to received 275,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines by June or July.
