The Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC) started accepting applications for admission and pre-enrollment for the School Year 2021-2022 on April 22, 2021.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando announced that Bulakenyo students can file their applications until August 15, 2021.
He said the pandemic cannot stop the government from providing free and quality education to its constituents.
“Kahit na tayo po ay nasa gitna ng pandemya, may mga paraan po tayo upang maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral ng ating mga kabataan. Libre po ito, walang bayad. Ngunit maaari po natin itong maibalik sa ating bansa sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral nang mabuti, pagtatapos, at paggamit ng ating mga natutunan upang mapaunlad ang ating sarili, ang ating pamilya, at ang ating komunidad,” (Amid pandemic we have systems to continue the studies of the youth. This is free, no payment. But we can give back to our country by way of studying hard, graduating, and using what we’ve learned to develop ourselves, our family and our community)," the governor said.
New students and transferees need to submit a scanned copy or picture from a cellphone camera of the requirements, including one piece of 2x2 colored picture with white background; report card or Transcript of Record or Certificate of Grades; and PSA Certificate of Live Birth.
Transferees must also pass a Good Moral certificate.
BPC offers courses approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) via blended learning.
Among the courses offered are Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), Bachelor of Science in Office Management, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System, Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education, and two-year Associate in Computer Technology that could be ladderized to BSIS.
They also teach technical and vocational courses such as two-year Computer Secretariat with Competency in Bookkeeping NC III; two-year Hotel and Restaurant Services (HRS) with competency in Food and Beverage Services NC II and Cookery NCII with the integration of Bread and Pastry; one-year Contact Center Services; one-year Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NCII; and one-year Electrical and Installation Maintenance (EIM) NC II.
Senior High School strands namely Accountancy, Business and Management; Humanities and Social Science; Technical-Vocational Livelihood; and General Academic are also offered in BPC.
