Police identify victims of Makati City shooting

Police identified on Thursday, April 22, the two elderly occupants of a van who were shot to death in Bel Air, Makati City on Wednesday.

In a text message to the Manila Bulletin, the Makati City Police identified the victims as Remegia de Vera, 62; and Bonifacio de Vera, 62, both residents of Quezon City.

Based on the initial police report, the two victims were shot inside their parked Toyota Hiace van with plate number ADA 1463 in front of a restaurant by gunmen riding a gray Mitsubishi Mirage with plate number MDO 1772.

As of writing, the police were still investigating the incident.
