Young stars Jinn "Palos" Lamatao and Yuri Dave "Yowe" Pacaña towed Execration to a 2-0 stunner over regional powerhouse Fnatic for its breakthrough win in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Season 2-Southeast Asia Upper Division on Wednesday night, April 21.
Palos on his Ursa ran roughshod over Polo "Raven" Fausto and the rest of the new-look Fnatic in the opener before Yowe on his Void Spirit fueled Execration's unstoppable aggression in the second game.
The 19-year-old Palos smashed his way to 13 kills and five assists against two deaths to power the boys in blue to a 28-15 triumph in nearly 40 minutes.
He got ample support from offlaner Nikko "Nikko" Bilocura whose Centaur Warrunner set up multiple kills for 15 assists.

Game 2 was even more lopsided as the 19-year-old Yowe went all over the map to spearhead Execration's relentless pressure that forced Fnatic to tap out with a 39-20 scoreline in 40 minutes.
Yowe came through with 10-1-19 kill-death-assist even as Palos sustained his stellar play on Lifestealer (13-1-14).

With the unexpected sweep, Execration ended its two-game losing start after suffering a 2-0 sweep to fellow Filipino team TNC Predator followed by a 2-1 defeat to Boom Esports in Week 1.
On the other hand, the Raven and Djardel "Dj" Mampusti-led Fnatic started its DPC Season 2 campaign on a terrible note.
Fnatic, which crashed out early in the playoffs of the ONE Esports Singapore Major, visibly struggled with its new offlaner Ng "ChYuan" Kee who replaced Natthapon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee.
