Derek Ramsay meets John Lloyd Cruz: How did it go?

For the first time in recent years,Â actor John Lloyd Cruz and Derek Ramsay met at Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa City.

Derek said the "unexpected" meeting happened in his home in Alabang where his girlfriend actress Ellen Adarna and son Elias are also staying.

During an interview over DzRH, Derek said the meeting was civil as John Lloyd congratulated him on his engagement with Ellen.

The hunk actor said Lloydie went to Ayala Alabang to fetch his son Elias for their bonding moment.

"Wala naman kaming problema ni John Lloyd. Siya rin minsan ang naghahatid dito kay Elias," he said.

John Lloyd and Ellen became partners in 2017. Later, they split. Ellen and Derek are now in a relationship. Last month, Ellen and Derek just announced their engagement as they plan to get married this year.

Derek said that he just woke up when John Lloyd dropped by the house.

"Maaga siya sumundo. Gising na ako. Nakita ko siya sa labas. Lumabas naman ako para bumati. Bati din siya. Sabi niya, 'congraulations,' " he revealed.

Earlier, Ellen said: "John Lloyd is a present father" to their son.
