2 drug suspects killed in Bulacan buy-bust

Two suspected drug peddlers were killed in a buy-bust operation conducted by Bulacan police on Monday, April 20.

Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, identified the slain drug suspects as Danilo Pineda Paiste, and Raffy Aniag Reyes, both from Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan.

The buy-bust operation against the suspects was conducted by the operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Marilao in Brgy. Lambakin at 12:02 am.

Based on the police report, the suspects sensed that they were transacting with police officers and fired at them.

Police officers fired back which resulted in the death of the suspects.

Recovered from the slain suspects were one Cal. 38 revolver without trademark and serial number; one Cal. 38 revolver Smith and Wesson without serial number; two cut-open plastic sachet containing marijuana fruiting tops; two aluminum foil improvised tooter; 20 plastic sachets of suspected shabu; assorted identification cards; one gold plated ring; one wristwatch; two portable weighing scale; and buy-bust money.
