The single-vehicle rollover accident sent the two passengers of a glass installer with non-life-threatening injuries to a hospital, according to PMaj. Winrich Laya Lim.

Lim identified the victims as Florenda Lagarto, 36; and Rodel Lagarto, 28, both residents of this city.

PMaj. Lim disclosed that the vehicle was traveling along San Juanico Bridge from Cabalawan Junction going to Samar around 10 a.m.

Upon reaching the ascending portion of the bridge, the vehicle encountered strong winds which caused the vehicle to roll over and its sidewheel misaligned.

Tacloban and the rest of Eastern Visayas have been experiencing heavy rains and strong winds due to 'Bising'.

As of 5p.m., 'Bising' has slightly weakened and decelerated while the whole Samar Island is placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2, and the rest of Eastern Visayas under TCWS No. 1.
