Of the total number of vaccinated individuals, he said more than 6,000 of them were senior citizens of Pasig City.

“Thank you for your patience. We have been introducing system upgrades to the Pasig Health Monitor so that we can confirm receipt of your updates in a more timely manner,” Sotto posted on his official Facebook page.

The mayor assured his constituents that he will always keep them in the loop for updates about the city’s COVID-19 inoculation program.

Sotto said updates will be immediately posted on the Facebook page of the Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO).

Meanwhile, he reminded the public that the city government of Pasig is strictly implementing "First-to-Update-First-Served" policy in their vaccination program.

According to the mayor, his 67-year-old mother, veteran actress Coney Reyes, was the 6,318th senior citizen to get inoculated in Pasig.

Sotto said that his mother, who has comorbidities, underwent the city’s vaccination process.

“Hindi naman siya makapagreklamo dahil siya ang nagturo sa 'kin para maging masunurin sa batas at alituntunin ng gobyerno (She can't complain because she was the one who taught me to obey government laws and rules)!”

As of April 15, Pasig City has a total of 1,684 active cases of COVID-19.
