The Valenzuela City government has launched a hotline solely dedicated for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination queries as its emergency number for surveillance unit and contact tracing is already overwhelmed by callers.

Mayor Rex Gatchalian announced in a social media post Thursday that the launching of VCVax Help Center aims to help residents who want to change their COVID-19 vaccine appointment, report side effects after getting inoculated or ask for more information about the vaccine.
The vaccine help center may be reached through contact number (02) 8822 2463 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. of Mondays to Sundays.
Meanwhile, the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit's (CESU) Mega Contact Tracing Center will start exclusively accommodating concerns related to COVID-19.
The CESU contact tracing center may be reached anytime through contact number 137-160. It will cater to residents experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, those who get in close contact with positive patient, those who want to avail of swab testing, those who have questions on isolation and other emergency situations related to the disease.
