Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson has achieved another milestone in his basketball career following the announcement of his own signature shoe.
"It was only just a DREAM. ST1 coming out soon," wrote Thompson on Instagram as several PBA personalities welcomed the news with a warm welcome.
Barny Chong, president of CHG Global Inc, the parent company of local sportswear brand World Balance, in a statement, expressed his excitement and gratitude for Thompson's future exclusive collection with the brand.
The deal made Thompson the first player to become the brand's image since the 80s era, following the footsteps of PBA legend Philip Cezar.
It looks like 2021 has been great for the high-flying guard after extending his contract with the Kings for three years and being engaged to long-time girlfriend Pau Fajardo on New Year's Eve.
