The Muntinlupa City government has vaccinated 14,108 residents against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to date.

Data from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that of the total, 5,123 are health workers (A1); 3,099 are senior citizens (A2); 5,793 are persons with comorbidities (A3); and three frontline workers in essential sectors (A4). The number of health workers vaccinated represents 100 percent completion rate for the first dose.
Out of the total vaccinees, 9,951, or 71 percent, were administered the first dose of Sinovac Life Science’s CoronaVac vaccine while 4,067, or 29, percent got the AstraZeneca. There are still 22,728 vials of the two vaccines for use in Muntinlupa.
People who were vaccinated said they experienced little or no side effects.
“Just a bit of sore arms for myself and my son which is to be expected,” said Patty Carrillo, who got the CoronaVac vaccine.
Nestor Fadul, who belongs to the A3 priority group, said, “I did not experience any side effect. No soreness or fever.” His second dose will be on May 6.
The Muntinlupa City government announced that all 13 vaccination centers in the city will be temporarily closed from April 16 to 18 to make an inventory of vaccines, manage data, and to clean and disinfect the facilities.
