"In light of the alarming increase in COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) cases and its effect on the manpower complement of the University of the Philippines Health Service, the said unit will temporarily close its physical facilities and discontinue its face-to-face services," the UP Diliman Health Service said in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 11.
"We are constrained to implement such measures to control the spread of the disease and give time for the members and staff of the facility who are directly affected by the infection to recover," it added.
From April 11 to April 25, 2021, the UP Diliman Health Service said the telemedicine and teledentistry platforms uphs.appointlet.com will be operational for its constituency.
However, it advised that medical consultation should be done in a tertiary hospital for those with more serious conditions.
