Areas in Mandaluyong, Pasig without water due to line leak repair


Water concessionaire Manila Water announced on Monday, April 12, that 14 barangays in Mandaluyong City, five barangays in Pasig City, and four barangays in Quezon City will continue to experience water service interruption after the leak repair on its mainline has been extended.

"The emergency leak repair on our mainline along EDSA/Boni Avenue (Northbound) in Mandaluyong City, which was damaged by AWIN Technology, a third-party contractor doing CCTV network installation, has been extended," Manila Water said in its Facebook post.

"Although water service has been restored in most of the areas affected last night (April 11), the following barangays will continue to experience water service interruption. Estimated time of completion of repairs is at 5:00 PM today, April 12, 2021," it said.

QUEZON CITY:
Parts of Kaunlaran
Bagong Lipunan ng Crame
Valencia
Ugong Norte

Manila Water said that water tankers have been deployed to augment the water supply in the affected areas. It apologized for the inconvenience the repair has brought to its customers.
