PCSO provides P29-M medical aid to 4,306 indigent Filipinos


The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has provided P29 million in medical assistance to over 4,300 indigent Filipinos.

PCSO said its Medical Access Program has assisted 4,306 beneficiaries from April 5 to April 8. The amount of aid disbursed totals P29,068,323.81.

Of the amount, P6.96 million was given to Northern and Central Luzon for 953 beneficiaries; P6.17 million to Southern Tagalog and Bicol region for 1,162 beneficiaries; P6.15 million to Visayas for 959 recipients; P5.59 million to the National Capital Region (NCR) for 608 recipients; and P4.1 million to Mindanao for 624 beneficiaries. 

In a Facebook post on Saturday, it said the delivery of its medical services nationwide continue from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"For National Capital Region (NCR) clients, you can also file an application online, just visit the link, https://www.pcso.gov.ph/webapps/NCROnlineApplication.aspx,” PCSO said. 

PCSO has been urging the public to patronize its games to generate funds for its Medical Access Program. The program seeks to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide - particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines
