Two alleged distributors of illegal drugs were killed in a buy-bust launched by anti-narcotics operatives that also led to the confiscation of P47.6 million worth of shabu in Pasay City before dawn Sunday, April 11.
Pasay City Police Chief Cesar Paday-os identified the slain suspects as alias "Domeng" and alias "Rey".
Police said the incident occurred at around 3:10 a.m. on C5 Extension in Barangay 201, Pasay City.
According to police report, members of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), National Capital Region Police Office-Regional Intelligence Division, and Pasay City Police conducted an entrapment operation against the two suspects.
During the drug bust, however, the suspects engaged the lawmen in a shootout that led to their death.
