Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has ordered the immediate distribution of the P1,000 financial assistance to individuals affected by the two-week enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Rubiano said she has ordered the release of P1,000 per individual or P4,000 per family to the listed 391 beneficiaries in Barangay 51.
She said the list was posted on April 6 and after 24 hours of not receiving complaints, the financial aid was immediately distributed at about 6 p.m. of April 8.
The mayor said the City Social Welfare and Development will continue with the distribution of financial assistance on Friday, April 9, in Barangay 39 with 22 households and Barangay 33 with 98 households.
Rubiano said the city government aims to finish the distribution of the financial assistance to about 123 beneficiaries which were approved by the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR).
She said the city government received the P348-million from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on April 7.
The mayor also gave barangay officials in the city’s 201 barangays 24 hours to receive questions and complaints on the names they listed as qualified beneficiaries of the financial assistance.
Rubiano also said barangay officials were also ordered to clean their list so the government can immediately prepare the payroll of the qualified beneficiaries.
