Lola Tomasa V. Amurao and a resident of Barangay Talon Dos was accompanied by her grandson doctor grandson when she receives the AstraZeneca vaccine to be sure the old lady will not experience any adverse effect.

Based on the Facebook page of the Las Pinas city government, Lola Tomasa known to her family as “Nanay Po” told her grandson Dr. Benjamin Cabrera that she feels no pain and side effects after receiving the vaccine.

The doctor said before Nanay Po receives her vaccine, a medical certificate was issued by her attending doctor to ensure that she is safe to receive the vaccine.

Cabrera was also assisted by Dr. Violeta Jequinto of the City Health Office in monitoring the condition of Nanay Po before she was allowed to go home.

Like any other medical frontline workers who received their vaccine jabs Nanay Po will be monitored by health workers.
