The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) was victimized by a prank call on an alleged fire in F. Manalo, Barangay Batis in San Juan City.

A Facebook post from a concerned netizen showed firefighters as they arrived at the scene of the fire. They later found out that there was actually no fire and that they were pranked by the person who reported it.
San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora deplored the incident and issued a statement in his Facebook account.
It's sad that there are people who play a joke on the public even if we're in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic)," he added.
Zamora urged the public to be wary of false information that are spreading that may cause fear and panic among the people.
