The Quezon city government will install two new zipper lanes along Commonwealth Avenue in the Fairview area starting on Monday, April 5 to address traffic congestion during morning and afternoon-to-evening rush hours in the area.Â

The AM Zipper Lane at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue and Regalado Highway will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. from Monday to Saturday and will terminate at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Camaro Street.
While the PM Zipper Lane will be at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue and Fairlane Street, and will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. It will terminate at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue and Regalado Highway.
Only light vehicles such as motorcycles will be allowed to use the zipper lanes. Vehicles must stay in the middle of the lane and form a single line while overtaking will not be permitted.
Traffic signal lights in the area will be on flashing mode as all motorists are requested to pay close attention to the Quezon City and MMDA traffic enforcers that are assigned in the area and follow their hand signals.
