Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is scheduled to be vaccinated on Sunday, April 4.
This was after the President's approval of the recommendation made by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to authorize mayors in high-risk cities and municipalities to get vaccinated.
Domagoso will receive his first dose of the Sinovac vaccine at 10 a.m. in President Sergio Osmeña High School in Tondo, Manila.
The city government will also continue its vaccination rollout for people with comorbidities ages 18 to 59 years old on Sunday (April 4).
There will be three vaccination sites available: District 2 — President Sergio Osmeña High School; District 4 — Ramon Magsaysay High School; District 5 — Justo Lucban Elementary School.
All patients will be asked to present a medical certificate, recent prescription of medicine, surgical abstract or discharge summary or any proof that they have comorbidity.
As of 8:10 p.m. Saturday (April 3), a total of 41,692 individuals under A1, A2, and A3 categories have been inoculated in the city.
