Angelica Panganiban reacts to recent COVID-19 case tally: 'Bakit walang nangyayari?'

Angelica Panganiban is among celebrities not happy with the Department of Health reporting about 15,310 additional coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Friday, April 2— the country’s highest single-day tally yet.

"Hindi na 'to biro. Hanggang kailan kami magtitiis," she wrote on Instagram. "Habang ang ibang bansa, patapos na. Tayo, babalik sa simula na mas matindi?"

She then asked, "Ano ang solusyon? Manahimik kami? Wag kami magsalita? Umiyak? Maging emosyonal? Solusyon po ang hiling namin. Solidong solusyon. Nasan ang inutang ng bansa? Bakit walang nangyayari? Panginoon, tulong po. Pakinggang niyo ang Pilipinas."

Shedidn't stop there.

On Twitter, she wrote: "15k?! To think ang mga nag papa check lang ay mga may symptoms at may kaya mag pa swab test.. eh pano ang wala? Hay nakakaloka! Nakakaloka p**ah!"

She admitted, the news makes her feel weak.

"Hinang hina ka na... maglalabas ka pa sa bulsa mo ng pera, para ma swab. At malalaman mo, pasitib ka sa covid mami! Pano na pa ospital? Gamot? Mental care?! Yung vaccine ba aasahan pa namin sa inyo? Di naman di ba? KKB! Nakakaiyak. Ito ang emotional."

Prior, other celebrities including Angel Locsin and Janine Gutierrez also shared their two cents about COVID-19 surge.
