The vaccination against COVID-19 in Makati City will resume on Easter Sunday (April 4), the local government announced.
It was stopped on Good Friday (April 2) and Black Saturday (April 3).
The city government said health centers will be open on Good Friday, but will be closed on weekends.
“For emergency and other concerns, dial 168 or use the Makatizen App,” it said.
The city recently urged senior citizens in the city to register online (www.proudmakatizen.com) for its “Bakuna Makati COVID-19 Vaccination Program.”
On April 1, Makati City announced that the quarantine facilities at Barangay Pembo and Ospital ng Makati (OsMak) have been renovated and are ready to accept COVID-19 patients needing critical care.
Three temporary emergency quarantine facilities (EQF) at Pembo Elementary School and another one at the parking area of OsMak have 14 beds each.
Makati City has a total of 1, 354 active cases of COVID-19 as of April 1.
