Over 6,600 publications on PH's agri-aqua, natural resources now available via DOST-PCAARRD's eLibrary
Over 6,600 publications on the Philippines' agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) can now be accessed by the public online for free via the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development's (DOST-PCAARRD) eLibrary.

This was announced by the DOST-PCAARRD in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 30.
“PCAARRD logs over 6,600 publication on agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources. All free of access,” the post read.
Those who want to access wide range of PCAARRD’s publications, theses, and technical reports were advised to create their account and visit its eLibrary portal: https://elibrary.pcaarrd.dost.gov.ph/slims/.
The DOST-PCAARRD and the Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) have jointly implemented the project, “Accelerating DOST-PCAARRD Knowledge Network of E-libraries”, which paved the way for the creation of an eLibrary.
The PCAARRD said the project is expected to establish the network of eLibraries using the DOST-STII-developed Science Library Information Management System (SLIMS). PCAARRD’s partners in the regions, and the regional R&D consortia will be involved in the project.
"Through SLIMS, the project will support the consortia in facilitating efficient organization, digitization, processing, and resource sharing of S&T resources in their base agency libraries among stakeholders,” the Council said.
"Likewise, it aims to promote the knowledge hub to expand the user base of the eLibrary and create awareness of the publications it hosts,” it added.
