Actress Angel Locsin has reacted once again to a recent statement of President Duterte who revealed about his struggles to manage the pandemic.

On Instagram, Locsin shared her two cents about Duterte's "naubos na ang luha ko" remark.

"With all due respect to your feelings for our countrymen, Sir, it's concrete solutions not emotions that we need to hear from you right now," Locsin said.

Locsin noted how millions of Filipinos wait for the President to address the nation.

"I know your time is precious, but so is ours. Especially now that every step matters," she continued.

"You can rant and share with your closest friends but not when addressing the nation. Thank you very much, Sir. Please stay safe."

A few days ago, Duterte said he wanted to cry as the country continues to struggle in acquiring more vaccines for the Filipinos.

“It stretches the — a mile long ang — ang journey natin sa paano natin isugpo ang bakuna. That is how hard it is para makakuha lang talaga tayo. Iyon ‘yong ganoon kahirap. Gusto ko na ngang umiyak sa harap ninyo pero naubos na ang luha ko. Hay buhay. Kung alam lang ninyo ang — ang… Para akong dumadaan ng purgatoryo ngayon at this time hanggang hindi matulungan ang lahat ng Pilipino."

Locsin acknowledged Duterte's effort to help the Filipinos.

"Anyway, Salamat po sa mabilis na pag apruba ng in-kind assistance para sa mga kababayan nating hirap ngayong pandemya. Lalo na po sa mga 'no work, no pay.' Napakagandang balita na mabasa po sa umaga. Good morning, everyone!"

Duterte has approved the grant of P1,000-worth of aid for 22.9 million Filipinos displaced by the reimposition of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna.
