Modern jeepneys offer free rides to APORs; click for list of routes
So-called essential commuters can avail of free rides amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) thanks to the 44 active routes of modern jeepneys under the government's service contracting program.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said the service will be operational for Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the entire duration of the ECQ until April 4, Easter Sunday.
According to the LTFRB, modern public utility jeepneys (MPUJs) will bear a sign in front saying that they are offering free rides to APORs. Passengers will have to present an identification card.
Here are the 44 MPUJ routes:

Meanwhile, the LTFRB reminded drivers and operators as well as passengers to strictly enforce and follow minimum health standards while inside the vehicle.
All modes of public transportation have been allowed to operate during the ECQ within the National Capital Region (NCR), Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna—collectively known as "NCR Plus". The strict lockdown will run from March 29 to April 4, or the entirety of Holy Week.
However, under the guidelines issued by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), public utility vehicles (PUVs) were directed to operate at 50 percent passenger capacity using the one-seat apart rule.
